Research Focus

My research examines the intersection of artificial intelligence, applied ethics, and public policy. I focus on analysing the degree to whcih governance approaches enable stakeholders to be proactively responsible for the impacts of AI on individuals and society. My CV can be found here

Examining tradeoffs between different formal and informal policy tools, instruments, and institutional arrangements emerging within global AI governance.

AI Ethics

Applying frameworks from moral and political philosophy to normatively conceptualise the novel challenges of assigning responsibility for AI's outcomes on individuals, communities, and society at large.
