About Me
Biography
I recently joined the Wharton Accountable AI Lab as a Postdoctoral Scholar, focusing on a range of topics related to AI ethics, law and policy. Prior to that, I was a PhD Student at the University of Edinburgh. My PhD research explored the tradeoffs of pursuing different top-down and bottom-up AI governance approaches, given the emerging challenges and complexities of assigning responsibility for the impacts of AI systems.
My work aims to fill the gap between governance frameworks within public policy/public administration, and the normative dimensions of AI ethics research on responsibility/accountability. To that end, my interdisciplinary approach is primarily at the intersection of public policy and AI ethics, while integrating approaches from fields like computer science, philosophy, organisational behaviour and management, law, and sociology.
